"Almost Macbeth" is a fast-paced, one-act, comic rendition of Shakespeare's "Cursed Play," Macbeth.  In fact, the entire play is performed with absolutely no mention of the cursed title characters' names--almost. True to performances in Shakespeare's day, the show is executed with minimal sets, props, costumes, lighting, and relies heavily on audience imagination. Opportunities for double and triple-casting abound, making the show a good choice for an ensemble of nine up to cast of eighteen or more.
